Organizing Committee

Prof. LAFHAJ is a full professor in Civil Engineering at Centrale Lille, France, the Founder and President of Institut Français de la Construction Lean (IFCL), and a Chair Holder in “Construction 4.0”. Prof. LAFHAJ is the former dean of International Affairs, a member of the Management Committee of Centrale Lille, and a member of the Board of Directors of Centrale Lille Institut.
Prof. LAFHAJ is Chairman and Founder of the ACE Workshop (Architecture, Construction, and Engineering) where he annually hosts the most important innovation in the construction sector, a place for dialogue, debate, and sharing.
As a researcher and supervisor of many researchers, his research focuses on the industrialization of construction, Industry 4.0 and Construction 4.0, the implementation of Lean construction, 3D printing in construction, supply chain management, modular and offsite construction, digital construction, sustainable construction and buildings, environmental practices in construction, ecological construction materials, and smart and connected construction sites and buildings.
Prof. LAFHAJ is a member of the board of directors of the International Association for Automation and Robotics in Construction (IAARC), Chair of the IGLC31Conference in 2023 and ISARC41 in 2024, member of the editorial board of several A-rank scientific journals, author and co-author of five books « The Lean Construction Revolution », « The Blockchain in Construction », « Women in Construction », « Logistics in Construction » and « The Vision of the City and the Construction Site in 2049 » and more than 200 scientific papers, supervisor of more than 35 doctoral theses, and expert for European, Canadian, and German scientific commissions.
